Description: Team Leader- ED Department: Patient Registration Status: Full Time Date Posted: 5/29/2008 Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to be a resource person to the Registrars in the Emergency Department. They must have extensive knowledge in the registration processes, including verification of eligibility and patients financial obligations. This person will serve as a back up to the Admitting as necessary. The shifts are 7am-3:30pm and 3pm-11:30pm respectively.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivilent. Minimum 2 years experience in admitting/outpatient registration preferred. Minimum 2 years supervisory experience desired. Administrative skills including typing and word processing abilities including Word/Excel/Access/Power Point/Series 2000/Clinician view with the ability to learn new software. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Bi-lingual language abilty preferred. Demonstrated organizational ability. Excellent • ambassador skills: for interaction with employees, patients, visitors and health care professionals.
