Provides analysis, work product preparation for the Regional Sr. Planners. Documents opportunities identified from the financial planning process and follows up with Wealth Teams regarding the status of the opportunities. Will perform detailed statement analysis of individual financial statements, balance sheet, tax and financial planning in areas such as estate planning; retirement planning; compensation and benefits, including stock options; income taxes, including tax research, return preparation and planning; investment planning, including fundamentals of modern portfolio theory; and risk management. REQUIREMENTS: Possess industry knowledge, technical and relationship building skills to earn trust and respect of internal partners and clients. Must be knowledgeable of financial planning programs and advanced knowledge of current office and spreadsheet software; Naviplan a strong plus. Four year degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance. Must be a self starter who is motivated, technically astute and team oriented. Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills are critical. Designation as either CPA or CFP a plus. Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm Wachovia
