Job Code : HRReq002066 Division/Department : AmerisourceBergen Corporation Location : Thorofare NJ US Job Type : Full Time Career Level : Experienced (Non-Manager) Education : Please Refer To Job Description Category : Sales Job Description : Work Location: Thorofare, NJ Shifts: Not Applicable Positions Available: 1Position Summary Under general direction of the Regional Vice President, designs and implements strategies and processes for the collection, distribution and communication of sales and marketing information, performance tracking and development for the purpose of providing leadership to the regional management and sales associates in the region.Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for implementing a process to manage and maintain biographical data for sales associates in the region. * Conducts analyses of market coverage data, sales compensation, performance measurement, sales recognition and performance management; provides recommendations to the regional sales VPs. * Implements sales force training and education programs; manages and updates forecasting and goal setting processes. Owns the prospecting and sales process. * Maintains prospects database; manages all organizational sales assignments data, by region, segment, director and manager. Analyzes Sales Trac and the pipeline. * Tracks and monitors sales performance tracking; communicates and distributes data to all respective sales associates in the region. * Oversees the tracking of individual sales revenues and incentive payouts utilizing sales management Tool. * Implements and updates all sales policies and procedures, including processes for market coverage, sales force effectiveness, sales compensation and expense control. * Implements and manages sales technology requirements in order to deliver solutions and systems to the sales associates. * Provides coaching, mentoring and leadership to the Program Directors and Field Sales Support Coordinators and Representatives. Coaches sales associates in sales process and institutes a Team selling approach. * Provides Corporate Vice President of Sales Operations regular updates of regional sales activity. * Participates in a variety of projects that require sales information and data. * Responsible for planning and facilitating regional sales meetings. * Performs related duties as assigned.Experience and Education Requirements Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelors Degree Program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years progressively responsible related experience including at least two (2) years at a manager level.Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements * Working knowledge of sales management, sales planning, quotas and budgets, successful selling techniques and related information. * Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail * Thorough knowledge of ABC policies, programs & services and products * Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing * Strong interpersonal skills * Strong mathematical and analytical skills * Strong leadership skills * Strong presentation skills * Strong computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointAdditional Information
