CORESense Development Team Mission: The primary mission of development is to protect product assets with process improvements while scaling the development organization: To produce the highest quality applications possible * Produce highly efficient code * Support the Call Center support SLAs * Support our hosting facility to support or SLAs * Empower the staff to maximize creativity Who You Are: You are a strong technical resource to the sales force. You are capable of actively driving and managing technology through the evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and advocate for CORESense products. You will be responsible for transitioning clients from the sales stage to the implementation stage, ensuring a proper hand shake and preparedness. You articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, helping them to understand how the product solves their problems and what benefits they will gain. You are able to identify technical challenges during the sales process to ensure we meet the clients needs and mitigate potential risks. You must be able to build and maintain strong relationships. In addition to your sales support responsibilities, you will also be responsible for building re-usable tools that help individual sales managers maintain a level of self-sufficiency. This may include self-guided product demonstrations, vertical/market-specific customizations and presentations for technical influences. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring that we can both demonstrate a tangible benefit to the prospect and that we can adequately fulfill the customers needs. Critical to this process is identifying potential risks or areas where our offerings do not currently meet customer needs. Major responsibilities and duties include the following; other duties may be assigned: Responsibilities: 1. Assist sales managers throughout the sales process to ensure they can overcome technical objections and adequately demonstrate the benefits of CORESense products. - Engage in ongoing dialog with customers - Translate customer needs into actionable demonstrations - Uncover risks and opportunities within each prospect - Demonstrate how we solve the prospects problems - Assist with the functional and technical elements of RFPs/RFIs - Assist in proposal writing to properly present the technical solution 50% 2. Create re-usable tools that enable the help communicate the value and benefits of the CORESense product offering - Self-running demonstrations - Presentations - Documents and white papers - FAQs for recurring themes 25% 3. Act as the technical liaison between sales and product management and between sales and implementation services. - Document and describe unmet needs that you believe represent opportunities for improvement - Create sales training modules to assist sales managers in understanding and properly communicating new capabilities and partnerships to their prospects - Liaise with implementation services to ensure a warm hand-off? from the sales process to the implementation process 25% Knowledge, Experience, Competencies, and Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Behavioral Competencies/Skills: * Experience in sales engineering or technical sales of similar software products or in the use of those products in target client base, or a combination of both. * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate well one on one with client management, technical administrators and end users * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong presentation skills delivered professionally with the able to improvise and adapt to meeting dynamics. * Solid knowledge of retail business processes including merchandising, supply chain/logistics, warehousing, marketing, and finance. * Able to exercise a reasonable amount of independent judgment under a minimum amount of supervision. * Strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to prioritize action items and meet deadlines, work in a team environment, follow standard policies and procedures, and maintain superior customer service at all times Technical Competencies/Skills: * Well-versed with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and/or Open Office to create standardized templates, unique presentations and logical proposals. * Web application development and database skills to create mock-ups and present customer data in tailored and compelling demonstrations. * Knowledge of web demonstration capabilities such as Webex and LiveMeeting. * Experience with creating/maintaining crucial content with tools such as Wikis and Blogs. Required: * Bachelors degree in computer science * 4+years experience in a similar role * Able to travel, extensively at times, to various customer sites within the United States * Software background * Experience in retail, supply chain, CRM or ERP software sales Desired: * Business degree in addition to technical degree a plus * Experience with PHP, MySQL, Linux, Apache Compensation: * Health Insurance/Dental Insurance/Flexible Spending Account, 401K, Base Salary plus commission Apply At:
