Need Network Admin for temporary contract work. Salary and work hours
will depend on experience, but we need to cover all or part of M-F
8:30-5:30. Contract for 5 months, maybe more.

Network Administrator:

Responsibilities
· Responsible for system administration and management of corporate
Windows NT/2000 network.
· Monitor and tune systems and network performance.
· Administration of LAN switches and routers, Internet connectivity,
firewalls, and servers.
· Complete all work assigned by the IT Manager
· Communicate all operational issues to the IT Manager
· Ensure IT Standards and Procedures are followed.
· Attend weekly meetings to update IT Manager on status of current
tasks
· Perform network changes as directed by the IT Manager
· Document any changes within data network
· Manages and supports backup and recovery processes.
· Assist on special projects and network implementations.
· Assists clients in solving their computer related and networking
problems.
· Responsible for receiving, assigning and management of helpdesk
ticket requests.
· Installation and troubleshooting of PCs, printers, fax machines,
software and hardware.
· Support of company network security and Anti-Virus systems

Required Skills
· Windows NT4, 2000 Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DHCP, Windows
Scripting
· Exchange 5.5
· Legato backup & recovery system support and management
· Checkpoint/Nokia Firewall administration
· Microsoft Office
· Some knowledge of Cisco switches
· Excellent communication and organizational skills

Pluses
· Citrix Server Administration
· Surf Control or other SPAM filtering software
· Websense or other URL/Protocol filtering systems
· TrendMicro AntiVirus Suite
· Microsoft SQL Backup & Recovery
· Solid problem solving and analytical skills
