Very very urgently looking for Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

Evaluates deployment requests, requirements, and documentation
Handles complex application code and/or content deployments
Partners with IT AD clients to ensure a complete identification and analysis of the requirements for packaging/deploying software across multiple platforms
Deploys applications to QA/Staging and Failover/DR/Production environments including:
· Application developed code set from corporate standard repositories based on deployment instructions from AD customer

· Application vendor code set based on vendor and development customer provided documentation

Initial ‘smoke-testing’ of deployed set
Advanced trouble-shooting deployment issues
Maintaining focus on customer satisfaction through process improvement, workflow automation, and two-way communications.


Experience:

· College degree in computer related field required.

· 5-7 years IT experience including software packaging deployment, or related software engineering experience.

Competencies:

· Technical expertise in multiple areas which may include Operating Systems (WIN2K, WIN3K, VMware, XP, UNIX, Solaris, AIX and LINUX), Application Servers (WebSphere, Vignette), Web Servers (IIS, iPlanet), and File Transfer Protocol (FTP.)

· Ability to write and de-bug scripts and batch programs

· Familiar with deployment automation, Marimba

· Strong analytical skills

· Ability to organize and write documentation

· Ability to establish priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously

· Willingness/ability to provide off-hours support 24/7 as needed to achieve customer SLA’s
