Skill
ETL Tools : Informatica, Data Stage, DTS, MSIS
DB : Oracle or DB2
Scripting : Excel Macros, VB, Shell scripting, Perl
DW/BI Tools : Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, ERWIN

JOB DESCRIPTION
· Exposure to handling large volumes of data extraction and data
loading
· Exposure to handling data from various sources (Flat files, Excel,
Access, Oracle or DB2 etc...)
· Hands on experience in data cleansing, data auditing, data
standardization/manipulation and data validation.
· Full cycle implementation of DW projects and managed small/medium
size projects including client interactions
· Exposure to Data modeling is preferred
· Hands on experience on industry known ETL tools such as Data Stage,
Informatica, DTS
· Database experience, more from a DBA point of view and PL/SQL
knowledge
· Should have very good hands on exposure to DW Databases, conceptual
& physical understanding of regular DW concepts
· Exposure to using automated scripts for some of the processes
involved in data extraction and loading
· Should have good understanding of ETL load processes as well - to
connect the implications of regular loads to DW.
· Should have worked on DW development (incl Schema Development) and
in development environment
· Assures that timeliness, quality improvement and performance goals
are met in a timely manner on all ETL activities
