POSITION: Sr. Manager / Director, Field Marketing - Americas (Job

Our client was recently named one of the top 10 influential players
globally within the application and data integration market. It is
international in scope, but US revenue in 2005 was $165 million.
Currently seeking a marketing director to manage the planning and
execution of successful lead generation campaigns across North America.
The ideal candidate has a comprehensive marketing background in
enterprise software or technology, including strategic planning and
campaign management, and will be responsible for all aspects of lead
generation activities across five regions.
The position requires the skills to effectively strategize, conceive
and implement programs that excite, impress and deliver results. The
Director of Field Marketing, Americas will work closely with the VP of
Global Field Marketing and the SVP of Sales to align corporate
marketing plans with regional plans. S/he will work with local
resources to execute direct marketing and email campaigns, online
seminars, workshops, road-shows and other lead generation activities
like customer seminars, user conferences, and trade shows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Understand target markets, develop short-term and long-term project
plans and work closely with corporate marketing teams to gain consensus
on project plans and budgets with regular reporting
· Define lead generation campaigns in specific markets and
continuously quantify the effectiveness of the campaigns
· Work with marketing communications and product marketing to ensure
marketing materials positively impact all regions
· Coach and mentor field marketing managers to improve marketing
results and internal communications with regional sales teams
· Manage metrics and reporting for Asia-Pacific, be responsible for
maintaining monthly and quarterly lead generation targets
· Responsible for regional advertising as well as reputation-building
activities like PR and customer referrals and case studies
Requirements:
This is a marketing management position and requires management of
campaigns from concept through to implementation to reporting.
Applicants should possess a strong lead generation program background
with a proven track record of running successful events as lead
generation activities, as well as the following qualifications: Must
be able to understand and work closely with sales VP's and directors
for planning, support and execution.
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing or similar
· 4-5 years of managing marketing programs for a business-oriented
(B2B) software company. Experience working for a global software
company preferred.
· 2-3 years managing a marketing team of three or more as Sr. Manager
or Director
· Must have the ability to drive change, and collaborate with others
to reach desired goals
· Detail-oriented and results focused with outstanding
program/project management skills
· Proven ability to deliver projects on time while achieving or
exceeding results estimates
· Ability to manage budget and make the "right" cost/benefit
decisions
· Dynamic and self-directed. A "get-it-done" attitude, a very
high level of self-motivation, and the willingness to be hands-on and
execute
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
· Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
· Understanding of customer centric/solution selling and sales
process is a plus
