Position-Role Title Product Development Engineer - Electronics
Position/Job Description Responsibilities:
.. Champion the development of new products from concept through
production
.. Assist marketing in the creation of product specifications
.. Develop hardware and firmware for products using embedded
microcontrollers
.. Direct product qualification testing
.. Guide the design of production test equipment
.. Ensure smooth transition of designs into production
.. Drive design improvements to ensure product reliability and quality
Essential Skills Qualifications:

BSEE with five or more years of new product development experience

Experienced in designing circuitry using embedded microcontrollers

Proficient in coding microcontrollers in assembler and C

Skilled in the design of analog signal interface circuits
for monitoring voltage, current, pressure and other parameters

Knowledgeable with serial communication links and protocols
such as RS485, IrDA, USB, Ethernet, and Modbus.

Familiarity with agency approvals and requirements (UL,CSA, CE)
