Product Manager / Planner - 40-60k - Dorval / Lachine Area

Our client is a leader in their industry, is presently looking for a
Product Manager. Primary responsibility is to work closely with Sales
and Logistics to drive business by analysis of specific market and/or
products lines. This person will be responsible for the development of
strategic plans to achieve company's business goals, while ensuring
that the operational aspects of the business, customer service, and
quality and inventory requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a plan to achieve annual, quarterly and monthly
sales gross profit and inventory forecasts. Ensure that these targets
reconcile to the company's financial plan of record.
- Monitor competitive activities and ensure that products within the
product line (category) remain competitively positioned to achieve
forecasted business performance.
- Negotiate product, pricing, general business terms and conditions
and service levels with vendors
- Establish programs with vendors to meet the Company's business
requirements, i.e., vendor return policies, exclusivity, etc.

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years experience in brand/product management
- Experience in Buying, Inventory, and planning are assets for this
position.
- Strong analytical, decision making and negotiating skills
- Proven multitasking abilities, detail oriented and the ability to
manage timelines
- Proficient computer skills, specifically MS Word, Excel, Outlook and
PowerPoint
- Strong verbal, written and communications skills
