QA Engineer

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for developing test plans and test cases for web based
commerce applications. Isolates root cause of defects discovered and
acts as a champion within Engineering to quickly resolve all important
issues in a timely manner. Acts as a mentor to less experienced QA
engineers to improve their test planning, execution, troubleshooting,
and reporting. Coordinates the activities of other QA engineers and
reports summarized results to cross-functional teams and Management.

* Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, QA testing
methodology and software release cycle, able to create test plan and
test cases base on requirement and user stories * Ability to quickly
learn, and become proficient with complex e-commerce web base
applications, understanding their interactions with other systems, and
how they operate within an overall system * Demonstrable experience
analyzing test results using statistical analysis techniques *
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are a must *
Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment;
strong sense of process, detail and follow through with strong problem
solving and analytical skills. * Must have excellent time management,
ability to handle interrupts and interacting with distributed team,
project Leadership and multi-tasking in a high-energy environment *
Knowledge of dealing with different layers of business partner
concepts is a plus * Familiar with test case management system and bug
tracking system are a must * Must familiar with Windows System, MS
SQL, IIS website setup, DOM/DCOM, XML and XSLT, .Net application, as
well as basic networking knowledge * Basic security programming
knowledge is a must * Build management system and build deployment
knowledge is required * Experience of QA Automation tool and ASP/.NET
basic programming knowledge are a plus

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· 3 – 5+ years of e-commerce QA experience

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

· Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
