QA tester with outstanding experience with Silk Performer. Location in
LA (near LAX). Duration 2 months.

Rates: Maximum $50 on 1099
Job Responsibilities
- Develop performance test plans based on predefined customer usage
cases.
- Develop performance test scripts for a large multi tiered financial
..NET web application using Segue Silk Performer.
- Isolate and diagnose performance and reliability issues and
coordinate fixes with the development and systems engineering teams.
- Develop and document system throughput guidelines and modify existing
hardware recommendations as needed.
- Communicate performance test status to both the development and
systems engineering teams.
- Candidate must take initiative in their job, a self-starter that can
prioritize tasks and perform independently as well as with other
performance test team members.

Experience with all of the following:
-8+ years performance testing in a multi-server and multi-tier Web
environment.
-4+ years developing and debugging Segue Silk Performer load test
scripts.
-3+ years on HP Proliant server hardware, Windows Server O/S, SQL
Server and IIS.
-Identifying and analyzing application, network, database, IIS, O/S and
hardware bottlenecks.
-Able to apply statistical methods when analyzing, interpreting and
reporting performance results.
-Building performance test environments from the hardware on up using
published install documentation.
-Writing basic SQL statements.
-Windows Performance Monitor counters.
-Web server log analysis.
