advertisement. We have small teams, and a casual and creative atmosphere.
We're growing quickly through a highly profitable, privately funded model.

We are looking for a strong Q/A and Release Engineer to support our
Consumer Brands team. The successful candidate will support brands such as
information.com , blogsource.com and newsalerts.com . This position is
accountable for creating and maintain an automated test framework,
interfacing with our systems team to facilitate our build and release
procedure and managing our version control systems.

Required skills:
- 3-5 years intermediate Perl expertise: object oriented models, data
structures, database integration, algorithms. Specifically, the candidate
should be familiar with mechanisms for testing perl-based web products and
libraries.
- CVS: Expertise in managing CVS. The candidate should be able to suggest
appropriate branching strategies and manage the creation of builds for
release.
- Intermediate Linux usage: Usage and administration familiarity.
Comfortable working with Linux on the desktop and all general skills to
maintain our code repository.

Desired skills:
Apache configuration experience is a big plus.
