Title: IT Software Developer

Location: Groveport, Ohio
Duration: 6 + months
Rate: Open


This position will be a member of a team that develops enhancements
and
provides maintenance/support for a number of different critical Outage
Management Systems on a variety of platforms.
Approximately 75% of the time will be spent fixing bugs and performing
maintenance activities to keep the system running at peak performance.
Another 15% of this persons time will be spent researching and
responding
to concerns and questions raised by business unit and end users.
The remaining 10% of the time would be spent supporting new project
work by
carrying out responsibilities at various phases of the project life
cycle
as needed.

Position Requirements:

The contractor for this job position shall have experience writing SQL
in
programs and procedures to extract data from relational databases,
specifically Oracle, DB2 and MS SQL Server.
This person should have .net training and programming experience using
ASP.net, C#.net and VB.net.
The candidate should also have programming experience with the
following
languages C, C++ and COBOL.
Much of the work will require Web application development experience
using
HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, JavaScript and VBScript.
Programming experience working with middleware products such as
MQSeries
and CICS will be valuable to the team.
Experience writing programs that use Crystal Reports would be help
satisfy
some work requests.
