JOB DUTIES
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:
1) Implements functional specifications on Linux based server system in
C++.
2) Implements functional specifications on Win32 platform in C++ and C#
languages, as well as Microsoft SQL and ASP.NET.
3) Provides reasonable estimates of time and materials required to
complete goals outlined in vision & scope provided by Development
Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training:
Required: Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
experience.
Prior Related Experience:
* Required: 2-4 years working w/ 2-4 years working with C/C++/C# on
Win32.
* Required: 2-4 years experience working with multi-threaded library on
Win32 platform.
* Required: Commitment to industry standard code practices and literate
programming style
* Required: 2-4 years working with the Standard Template Library (STL)
or 2-4 years working with MFC, ATL, .NET foundation class library or
equivalent library code.
* Required: 2-4 years of Object Oriented design experience
* Preferred: 1 year experience working with e-commerce systems
* Preferred: 1-year experience working with online games.
* Preferred: 2-4 years working with source control system such as CVS
or Perforce
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1) Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
2) Highly motivated self-starter with attention to detail
3) In-depth knowledge of C/C++ and the STL, C#, Microsoft SQL, MFC, ATL
or other widely adopted library code base
