DETAILS:

Type : FULLTIME / PERMANENT
Level : Manager
Title : SAP Implementation Project Manager
GEO REQUIREMENTS : Must relocate to Victoria, BC if not local
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : Limited travel outside of Victoria. COMPENSATION : 100 to 135k CAD base.

REQUIRED SKILLS (Must Have):
Deep SAP implementation experience, 5+ years of which in a PM capacity

PREFERRED SKILLS (Nice to Have):
SAP CRM and PS-CD

POSITION PROFILE: Senior SAP Project Manager
As an SAP Implementation Project Manager, the successful candidate will have senior managerial responsibility for overseeing the implementation of SAP’s 4.7 Enterprise application software in a complex financial, CRM, PSCD, tax and revenue collection environment.

Responsibilities Include

• Direct design and completion of SAP implementation projects
• Oversee engagements to ensure delivery of high quality projects which meet the expectations of the client
• Deliver services on time and at a profit to the firm
• Supervision of 50+ professional consultants
• Schedules tasks and assigns personnel
• Reviews documentation prepared by personnel
• Reviews project progress and reports status to client and senior management
• Formulates recommendations with respect to clients for presentation to senior management
• Reviews programming or systems performance and directs corrective action
• Market and sell SAP engagement services to existing clients and new clients
• Recruit, develop and train competent staff
• Manage client relationships
• Manage engagement risk and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university; PMP and CMMI preferred
• Canadian citizen preferred
• 15+ years of systems implementation/consulting experience required
• Proven ability to manage a project of greater than 50 consultants
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale complex projects, on-time and within-budget
• 5+ years as an SAP Project Manager, with full implementation lifecycle experience, including SAP 4.7 Enterprise
• Public sector experienced desired
• Experience with or exposure to FI, CO, CRM on prior implementations, with PSCD considered a plus
• Tax, revenue and collection experience is desired
• Broad cross-functional knowledge of SAP
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with English as a primary language
