Position Summary:
As a Senior I/O Circuit Designer, you will have the opportunity to be
involved in the specification, planning, design and verification of our next
generation products.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for:
a.. Development of custom and standard compliant I/O buffers from
feasibility and functional specification through circuit design and physical
implementation to production.
b.. Evaluating design impact on board level system performance, package
requirements and signal integrity
c.. ESD and layout guidelines
d.. Work with cross-functional teams on chip level integration issues to
guarantee signal integrity conformance
Requirements:
a.. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Masters preferred.
b.. A minimum of; 6 years in high speed I/O and interface development
c.. Working knowledge of ESD protection schemes
d.. Experience with layout and circuit design tools i.e. Cadence Artist,
Virtuoso, Spectre and/or HSPICE
e.. Knowledge of Verilog or VHDL.
f.. Experience with library development and characterization preferred.
g.. Self-motivated individual with the ability to collaborate with
technical and non-technical peers, and an interest in playing a variety of
roles on a team.
Our ideal candidate has strong analog circuit design experience and can
demonstrate an interest in ASIC development. We are interested in knowing
about your track record of involvement through the design cycle of ASIC
products, and how much experience you have in applying design methodologies.
Familiarity with DDR, DDR2 or other source synchronous parallel standards
would be an asset.
