Senior developer for software infrastructure development

Required skills:
- degree in computer science or equivalent culture;
- very good knowledge of Perl, mod_perl, xml, soap, http;
- asyncronous event-driven network programming;
- working with relational transactional database servers;
- OO patterns and methodologies;
- experience with linux development toolchain;
- 2 years experience in similar role;
- ability to work in team.

Desired skills:
- other programming languages such as: C, Python, PHP and Java;
- building web user interfaces;
- BerkeleyDB;
- distributed systems;
- italian language.
