Senior Systems Engineer - San Diego, CA

Pointe Technology Group is looking for a Senior System Engineer to support a multi-year military contract from SPAWAR in San Diego. Position requires extensive experience and strong skills in Link-16 communications technologies/products, current COTS Technologies, Networking Technologies, Information Assurance and Secure Network Technology /Standards, use of Link-16 networking models and simulation, and Systems/Software/Product engineering processes. Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills and be familiar with contemporary Comms and Networking technologies and products as needed for the capture of new C4ISR business. Will be a key member of a multi-disciplinary Project teams. Applicant will be required to lead the development of Technical/Product Architectures for comms and networking systems. Task will include leading the requirements discovery, functional analysis, timeline analysis, model based analysis, detailed trade studies, EMI/EMC analysis, COTS make/buy decisions, requirements allocation, interface definition, schema definition, specification development, UML.
