Required Experience:
1. 5 or more years overall IT experience required
2. 3 or more years Java Programming experience (EJBs, Java Servlets
and JSP)
3. 3 or more years experience Web Architecture
4. 2 or more years consulting experience
5. 2 or more years experience generating technical documentation
6. 2 or more years proven mentoring/leadership experience on
significant projects

Desired Experience:
1. 2 or more years WebSphere Application Server
2. 1 or more years Services Oriented Architecture Design and
Implementation
3. 1 or more years WebSphere Portal
4. 1 or more years Security Technology (Digital Certificates, LDAP,
Netegrity, PKI, etc…)
5. 1 or more years Enterprise Integration (mainframes, messaging
middleware, etc.)
6. 1 or more years Rational Unified Process
7. Intimate knowledge of the IBM WebSphere family of products

Job Description:
JMD Partners are searching for a Technical Architect to provide
solutions to our client base.

We seek someone with a history of professionalism, drive, and
commitment to excellence - Hands On, a billable resource; a
self-motivated leader.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work with our Business Development team in a pre-sales capacity to
transform our client’s business problems into comprehensive
technology solutions.
2. Work with our delivery teams to design and implement technology
solutions.
3. Generate documentation in both the pre and post sales process.
This includes, but is not limited to, generating Statements of
Work, Client Presentations, Technical Requirements and Technical
Design Documentation.
4. Work with the Project Managers to build work plans and manage
technical teams to those work plans during solution construction.
5. Act as a billable resource on client engagements performing such
duties as requirements gathering, performing architectural
design, developing business cases, project planning, product
installation and configuration and software development.
6. Actively participate in the recruitment and growth of our
technical team members; act as a mentor in their career
development.
