Job Description:
If you are interested in the position answer the following questions

1) How many years of Utility experience do you have?
2) How many substation projects have you worked on?
3) How would you rate your own written and verbal communication skills?



1 50% Of Time Essential
Under supervision of a senior substation engr., scope, estimate and
design replacement and additional components for 60, 115, 230 and 500
kV substations, including transformers, breakers, relays, control
buildings, SCADA and switchgear. Bid and order long lead-time material
including vendor evaluation.

2 30% Of Time Essential
Coordinate and communicate with the project team on smaller-scale
projects. Monitor engineering costs, schedule and overall performance
on projects. Provide proper documentation and statusing. Work with
Senior engineer on larger projects.

3 20% Of Time Essential
Develop improved products and sourcing from vendors on assigned
equipment expertise.





Skills Requirement:
SELECTION CRITERIA
REQUIRED:
BS in Electrical Engineering
3 years of utility engineering experience
Managing for Results / Communication / Quality & Efficiency
PC Skills in Word, Excel and Windows
Initiative / Teamwork
Building Agreement
Safety
Customer Focus
Job Skills
Communications
Quality & Efficiency

DESIRED:
Business Understanding
Managing for Results
Teamwork
Initiative
2 years of substation project experience
Project management skills
