Supply Chain Consultant (Fulltime Position)
A client of A.C. Coy's is looking for a Supply Chain Consultant to
join their organization on a fulltime basis. You as the Supply Chain
Consultant will be responsible for analyzing production, distribution
and sales data and construct models that adequately represents the
operations of various business units across the supply chain, analyze
financial data and build cost models for predicting business costs
under different growth scenarios. Build mathematical programming
models that are solved in advanced optimization techniques, in order to
systematically search through various business scenarios and arrive at
the most cost efficient and robust supply chain structures.
Communicate these efficient strategic planning solutions to the clients
and assist them in implementing the solutions across their supply
chain.
Assist in the development of generic software modules for the
operations and cost analysis methodology. Create and standardize data
loading methodology to load and processed data into a relational
database. Use tools such as SQL-Server 2000 and Excel to manage,
process and aggregate sales, product, manufacturing and financial
related data.
If you have a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics,
and at least 3 years of experience in modeling real-world supply
chains, a strong background in modeling and analysis of logistics and
production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing systems,
then this is the position you have been looking for! If you are
familiar with optimization techniques for linear and discrete models,
and have experience with programming languages such as C or C++, that
would be a plus. Salary is up to $90,000 with full benefits.
