Must Have Skills:

- University Degree or equivalent related work experience
- Excellent knowledge of java application servers including WebLogic
Server v 8.1 and WebLogic Integration
- Excellent knowledge of web servers, preferably Apache
- Excellent knowledge of Unix operating systems, preferably Redhat
Linux 4 and HP-UX 11
- Experience with other BEA Weblogic products including WebLogic
Portal v 8.1, and AquaLogic Service Bus v 2
- Good knowledge of internet security issues
- Good knowledge of Java application development
- Good knowledge of scripting tools for automation, monitoring and
tuning
- Understanding of databases including Oracle 9i, Microsoft SQL Server
2000 and MySQL


Responsibilities include:

-Responsible for the infrastructure that supports over 100 dynamic web
sites and web service middleware
-Define build standards for enterprise middleware in a shared
infrastructure environment with distributed administration and
management
-Define processes for middleware management, resource allocation and
application deployment
-Liaise with application developers, architects, and project managers
to define implementation requirements
-Ensure that infrastructure conforms to architecture, operations, and
security standards and procedures.
-Create, maintain, and test disaster recovery procedures.
-Evaluation of available software products to meet corporate business
requirements.
-Experience in an enterprise class environment supporting 5000+ users
and established change and incident management procedures.
