You will be responsible for the security planning, design and support of internal SAP applications (GFS/SAP R/3, BW, SRM and ERP systems). The administrator works closely with the GFS application and technical development teams on the implementation of the SAP security requirements. Resolve security issues and provide best practices for the security related policies and procedures for the applications. Will provide a secure and auditable environment that can be managed simply with low overhead. Must weigh business needs against security concerns and articulates issues to management. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. This position will require some overtime, some weekend work, and on-call support.

Primary responsibilities for this role may include:· Support security role administration for SAP R/3, BW, SRM ERP, and other SAP systems as implemented by the business.· Assist in establishing and maintaining a technical set of security related policies and procedures for the GFS landscape incorporating R/3, BW CFM, EBP and web related components.· Create and maintain security roles for each landscape (development, QA, production, etc) using the SAP profile generator.· Provide SAP user administration for non-production environments.· Produce status reports as part of regular security monitoring and assist in defining monitoring and assist in defining monitoring procedures.· Ensure compliance with US company and Global IT security requirements, including legal requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley. Work with other support teams on security planning.· Assist with security when third party products are integrated with the SAP systems.· Assist in providing a secure and auditable environment for each SAP system landscape.· Monitor and respond to Progman problems and enhancements (2PR/2CR) that require security changes (all SAP environments) within designated SLA.· Monitor and respond to Service Center tickets for user administration in SAP non-production environments within designated SLA.· On call support and response for primary responsibility application environment(s). The IT SAP Security Administrator works on security problems and requests requiring analysis. He/she applies comprehensive functional knowledge in problem resolution, and actively contributes to the development of new methods, procedures, processes or systems, with full understanding of the impact of these changes. The SAP Security Administrator participates in functions and/or projects based on experience and knowledge. He/She may be responsible for decisions impacting a team and may provide input into the decision making process for larger decisions, as well as proposing and defining solutions and standards which may impact a team or the organization. Key Objectives and responsibilities of this role will include the following: The Primary Responsibilities of the Security Administrator will be to support the implementation of SAP (GFS systems) Security as follows: Support security role administration for SAP R/3, BW, SRM, ERP, and other SAP systems as implemented by the business. Assist in establishing and maintaining a technical set of security related policies and procedures for the GFS landscape incorporating R/3, BW, CFM, EBP and web related components. Accountability - Success in this role will be determined by the following: Adhering to all company and team standards (configuration, security, etc.), policies (change management, etc.) & procedures as documented in KCurve2, direct communications, the team file share, etc. These include but are not limited to change management, independence, established work hours, out of office, dress code, time & expense reporting, and status (KARE) reporting. Consistently completing administrative tasks (T&E, KARE Reports, etc.) on-time and without need for Supervisor follow up.Assist in providing a secure and auditable environment for each SAP system landscape. Contribute to daily security monitoring of SAP application environments. Monitor and respond to Service Center tickets for user administration in SAP non-production environments within designated SLA.Monitor and respond to Progman problems and enhancements (2PR/2CR) that require security changes (all SAP environments) within designated SLA. On call support and response for primary responsibility application environment(s).Coordinate with and assist the Finance GFS Business Liaison group with SAP security issues (requests for reports, compliance questions, etc.) .Communicate with GFS and/or IT Security management regarding potential violation of firm and/or US security standards. Adhere to GFS Change management procedures in regard to security role and user changes in SAP environments. Ability to perform a self started thorough analysis of alternatives when researching problems or supporting projects. Excellent communication skills in both written and oral presentations. Serve as a role model, exhibiting ethical behavior, and educating staff on Firm policies and procedures. Develop and strengthen relationships outside of the functional team, focusing on understanding the needs of those who depend on the team’s services and those who deliver services on which the team depends.

Requirements:
3+ years relevant work experience with SAP Security.
Solid understanding of SAP Security and Auditing tasks is required.
R/3, BW and SRM experience is preferred.
Candidates with less than 3+ years relevant work experience will be considered if work experience includes BW, SRM and/or ERP.
Strong skills utilizing Lotus Notes databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong business process and systems analysis skills required.
Must be willing to work overtime as necessary for day-to-day operations and occasional weekend or after-hours coverage.
Will be required to carry cell phone, pager or blackberry.
Strong written & oral communication skills with a strong customer orientation.
Commitment to professional growth; seeks opportunities for development; expected to share knowledge with others.
Understanding of technology/software relevant to team.
