Tampa ~ Sr. Oracle Developer

We are looking for seasoned Sr. Oracle Developer with a strong foundation in Web based, purpose built enterprise Applications.

You will implement and support efficient application software solutions. Use Erwin to design, model and implement database schemas. Script changes to the database structure/environment while preserving existing data. Produce quality PL/SQL code and SQL statements based on the documented requirements. Diagnose database related performance problems; tune and optimize database code for maximum application response times and maximize network usage efficiency. Analyze and translate business needs into effective technical solutions. Work on components of large complex projects with minimal guidance. Gather, compile, interpret, synthesize and normalize information from business processes or technology systems.

Requirements:
BSCS or equivalent degree.
5+ years of Oracle PL/SQL programming experience.
Requires solid verbal and written communication skills.
Must be professional, reliable and possess a positive attitude.
Strong PL/SQL experience with Cursors, Dynamic SQL, Procedures, Functions and Packages, exception handling, REF cursors, and Transaction handling.
Solid SQL knowledge and experience with Joins (inner/outer), Inline Views, SQL statement tuning, Tuning tools, Oracle Built-in functions, Oracle Analytic Functions, Views, Oracle's Data Dictionary.
Data Modeling experience using ERWin; Data Normalization, Logical & Physical data models; preparing migration scripts; Scripting database object changes to effect design changes and enhancements.
Data Warehousing concepts/ VLDB concepts, Parallelism, Star schemas vs. OLTP schemas; table partitioning; techniques for handling large datasets; materialized views; indexing strategies; handling File feeds and ETL processes.
