Unix System Administrator - US - NM

Position Overview
Currently, we are looking to hire an experienced Systems Administrator
in Toronto.

Required Skills:

* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Information Systems, or similar discipline (or equivalent work
experience)

* Minimum 6-7 years of Unix system administration experience

* Minimum 6-7 years experience of Unix software development experience

* Strong skills and experience in Solaris and Linux

* Programming/scripting skills in sh, Perl, SQL, PL/SQL, etc

* Basic understanding of Windows XP/2000/2003 networking features,
functionality, and administration. Windows/UNIX integration experience

* TCP/IP network administration

* Cisco router/switch/firewall administration experience

* Willingness to provide off-hours on-call support and work off-hours
as necessary

Desired skills:

* Database programming skills including generic SQL and
Informix/Postgres

* Understanding of Java or other OOP programming language

* Basic understanding of Jini framework

* Experience with deploying, operating, and maintaining various
security systems

* Cisco VOIP experience

* Excellent written and oral communications skills.
