Job Desc:
* Contributes directly to a variety of software projects by writing
code, testing it, and rewriting to resolve software issues.
* Performs software development on a team using VB 6 and SQL Server.
* Requirements gathering and documentation.
* Performs software development, unit testing, deployment, and adheres
to development standards.
* Meeting project schedules.
* Sustains support of installed products per the direction of the
laboratory project lead and handles change requests.

Skills / Qualifications:
* 3+ years developing applications in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0
* 3+ years working with relational databases
* 2+ years developing with databases in Microsoft SQL Server
* Excellent problem solving and analysis skills, systems thinker,
results driven, self-motivated, team skills, written and oral
communication skills
* BS in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering,
or electrical engineering with software emphasis

Beneficial experience:
* Experience developing applications in Microsoft .NET and C#
* Experience with web technologies: HTML, ASP.Net
* Experience with XML, XSL
* Borland StarTeam
* FinalBuilder
