Our client is among the TOP 3 Class III medical devices companies and because of sudden growth, they need someone to step in as a Program Manager II level position.
The Program Manager will, with limited supervision, lead cross-functional product development teams of personnel from R&D, quality, marketing, clinical, regulatory, and manufacturing.
This position is responsible for the full product development life cycle for EP mapping and ablation catheters while ensuring compliance to quality, safety, and reliability standards. This person is responsible for establishing the project scope and achieving its time, cost, quality, and reliability objectives.
This position is responsible for identifying appropriate resource needs, assembling a cross functional product development team, assigning individual responsibilities, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of the product development project.
This individual must be familiar with the interdependent roles played by departments across the organization as well as the abilities of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
This Project Manager will lead the project team to achieve the product objectives, reports project status to management, and has the authority to resolve issues encountered during the project.
This individual is typically not an individual contributor to the project, but instead provides technical, analytical, and consultative guidance to the project team.
Qualifications: BA or BS with a major in math, engineering, life sciences, business, or other relevant degree required.
An MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of program/project management experience in the medical device industry is required.
Successful experience in the development of class III medical devices is preferred.
Formal training in Program/Project Management or a Project Management Professional Certification is preferred. Must have demonstrated written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Must be able to demonstrate successful leadership and organizational skills.
