Experience
Strong writers required with Technical knowledge and or experience.
Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio required!
This team of writers will be working together, but can be located in
Morris Plains , Parsippany or New York , depending on contractor's
preference and business needs. May be required to sit at a site other
than their primary preference, one or 2 days per week.
Must have excellent writing skills, spelling, grammar and communication
skills.

Cell Phone is required. (this position is not a high-level technical
writing position - we need people who are technically savvy, are good
writers, can take direction and ask questions).

The candidate will have at least 3 years technical authoring
experience, and should be skilled in the following:

· Technical writing (Process Maps, SOPs, Work Instructions, etc.)
· Microsoft word processing, spreadsheets, database, and flowcharting
tools.
· Time management, work organization, priority setting for tasks.
· Producing deliverables, goal achievement, status reporting.
· Team work, listening, and independent work.
· Clerical duties such as data entry, organizing project
documentation, filing, library inventory management, etc.
· The ability to translate technical functions / features into
process driven user friendly materials to support daily infrastructure
operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The individual will be responsible for creating
operational documentation in support of Clients's operating model
implementation. They will be expected to work closely with other
technical writers, business analysts, and project managers within the
organization. The individual will assist in the development of Process
Maps, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions ( WIs ),
etc. The individual will be expected to manage the document lifecycle
from draft through to fully approved status in the document repository.


This position requires all work be completed on-site.
