shortage of Cobol programmers

I was amused by an InforWorld article be-moaning the shortage of
mainframe programmers tomaintain 30-50 year old database and financial
software at some big companies. Offshore companies arent interested
in these technology. I get this job security to the declining few who
remember
this stuff.
