one thing the electric solution has going for it is that NL Power is a
regulated company and all price increases have to be approved by the Public
Utilities Board.
Oil on the other hand is going to ride the waves of the world market forces.
Other advantages:
1. possible lower home owner insurance
2. no oil tank spill/safety issues to worry about
3. no chimney required
